On August 14 – 15 at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center there was the 8th educational course “Modern methods of intracranial gliomas treatment”.
On August 14-15, 2015 the Federal Neurosurgical center of Novosibirsk gathered specialists from all over Russia and became some kind of whole-Russian educational center for neurosurgeons, oncologists, radiologists and those specialists who is involved somehow into treatment of intracranial gliomas. During 2-days educational course held under the auspices of Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons and Siberian Association of Neurosurgeons “SibNeuro” famous specialists from Japan, Great Britain, the USA and India (see the list of lecturers here) made their lectures.

About 100 specialists from different cities of Russia (Novosibirsk, Moscow, Irkutsk, St.-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tula, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Novokuznetsk, Barnaul, Kazan and Stavropol) have visited the educational course.
Lectures and discussion were in English. Each scientific section ended by discussion of topical questions of diagnostics, surgical treatment and adjuvant therapy of glial brain tumors.
One of participants of the conference shared his impressions: “Everything was organized perfectly and on high level! The quality of lectures of invited speakers was wonderful! I am sure that all the visitors of this educational course were fully satisfied with knowledge and enjoyed communication with foreign doctors! You do the most important thing in your profession – you help improving constantly preparing the most qualified and popular specialists-neurosurgeons!”
