“Minimally invasive spine surgery” educational course.
“Minimally invasive spine syrgery” educational course will be held on May 19-20 at the premises of the Federal Neurosurgical Center supported by Jonhnson&Jonhnson company.

May 19
9:00 a.m.– Welcome words, greetings. Goals and objectives of the course;
9:10 a.m.– Review of minimally invasive surgery principles. Comparison of minimally invasive and open surgery. Economic advantages of minimally invasive surgery. 3600 spondylosyndesis, stabilization and sagittal balance;
09:50 a.m.– Marking and carriers’ installation. Installation of screws with the use of minimally invasive surgical technique. Procedure;
10:50 a.m.– Coffee-break;
11:10 a.m. – Dorsal and posterolateral approaches PLIF/TLIF: technique and evidential basis, choice principles. Decompression/microdiscectomy through mini-approach;
12:40 p.m. – Lunch;
1:30 p.m. – Skills and drills;
4:00 p.m. – Analysis and pre-operational planning of clinical cases for surgical day;
4:30 p.m. – Summing-up of the first educational day.
May 20
8:30 a.m.– Meeting of participants;
8:40 a.m.– Clinical cases discussion (2 cases from each participant);
11.00 a.m.– Coffee-break;
11:20 a.m.- Live surgery;
1:20 p.m. - Lunch ;
