Results of the Young Scientists Competition in the Framework of the IInd Siberian Neurosurgical Congress
A competition of young scientists among neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists and other clinical neuro specialties is held in the framework of the Siberian Neurosurgical Congress.
The first competition was held in the framework of the Ist Siberian Neurosurgical Congress in July 2016.
6 specialists took part in the Competition of Young Scientists of the IInd Siberian Neurosurgical Congress. Each article was reviewed by a commission and checked for the originality of the results.
The following young scientists became the winners of the Competition:
Ist place:
Maksim L.Sazhnev, MD. PhD, trauma-orthopedist of the “National Medical Research Center for Trauma and Orthopedy named after N.N.Priorov” (Moscow) with the report “Effectiveness of four-rode fixation in case of pedicle subtraction spine osteotomy”.
Prize: two-weeks training in the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk).
IInd place:
Vidjay M.Dzhafarov, neurosurgeon of the functional division of the Federal Neurosurgical Center (Novosibirsk) with the report “Complications in cases of epidural spinal stimulation: 5-years’ experience”.
Andrey V.Polyakov, MD, PhD, neurosurgeon of the State Clinical Hospital named after F.I.Inozemtsev (Moscow) with the report “Transpalpebral approach in skull base surgery”.
Prize: participation in the VIIIth Whole-Russian Neurosurgical Congress that will be held during September 18-22, 2018 in St.-Petersburg.
At present we accept articles for participation in the “Competition ofYoung Specialists-2018”. Deadline for articles admission is January 26, 2019.
